Copper Lighting Sculpture

Part of the Whole is an expressive culmination of my creative journey, weaving together multiple forms of artistic expression into a cohesive body of work. This includes movement, digital and physical artwork, and product design.

The first phase - Chaos - marks an exploration to the phases of becoming, a journey that will unfold through Awakening and Purpose.

Beginning with movement under the immersed projects - a fusion of visuals and motion, the journey transitions into digital artwork, exploring graphic elements through drawings and animations. It culminates in physical artworks and copper lighting sculptures, such as these pieces, which embody the interplay of light, form, and transformation.

This is only the beginning.

Chaos I originated from abstract lines and forms found in the digital artwork, reflecting the unpredictable yet intentional patterns of life. These designs were transferred onto copper sheets, hand-cut and hammered, and welded. Each element strategically placed to allow light to radiate from within and cascade outward, symbolizing the interplay of inner potential and external impact as well as internal transformation and external expression.

Just like tiny dots forming a larger picture, the work represents our individual roles within a greater whole, contributing to something far greater than ourselves. Even amidst the divine chaos, there is growth. Through awakening, we can find our place in this grand design, discovering purpose and harmony within the interconnected fabric of life.
